I've seen these forums alluded to on the bottonm left corner of my screen, but CM is all about the hook-up, [what a bunch of pervy sluts we all are :-) ], I figured there would not be much of substance here! Are any of the forums worth the time, If am now interested in finding my way into the community, and not JUST for more play!?

Hi there. The forums are very good for learning how D/s works. They won't really help you connect with the community itself, but might help connecting with individual members in the community.

Do you always enter a room ass backwards? LOL... come on lighten up. You can't judge all the people by some and if you don't know what the forums are about, how can you talk as if they are faulty somehow? You expect them to be bad. Okay, they are bad... not worth your time. Personally I like the forums and many of the people here, but what do I know after only a few years? Relax, go read... you may not agree with me (And I am not saying all threads or posts are wonderful) but it is what it is. Welcome to the boards...

If you are looking for more than play why have a crotch shot for your primary photo? That doesn't scream anything but play to me. 2. CM is not all about the hook-up. More than that though I think A LOT of the people who post here have substance even those I disagree with.

Hi. The forums are a wealth of material I find, perhaps you won't find the same but I've educated myself here over time. It does come across as a wee bit presumptuous to say that CM is all about the hook-up. It isn't for me, but I guess that's beside the point. Anyway, if you feel like reading then find a juicy topic and dig in and perhaps you'll find something of use.

You get out of it what you put into it. It's that simple. Read some of what's going on in the various forum threads, and take it from there. [:D]The other side is totally separate from this one, that's a given. It's where you get silly messages from people who haven't bothered to read your profile, don't match you in any way and think they'll talk you into moving across an ocean to live with them as a 24/7 no limit slave. @DaddysInkedSlut -- It's a PG rated version of what could easily be a pink shot for heavens sake -- lighten up! MY EXPERIENCE has been that CM is a Hook-up site for most of the people here. Better? Been here almost a year, read my email inbox, trust me, there is little there that is not about hooking up! giggles [sheesh it always amazes me when people in the lifestyle dont have enough of a sense of humor to laugh at ourselves honestly!] Fetlife is where I usually go to immerse my self in everything that is good, that I love about the lifestyle. I've actually found CM to be a good balance between the hook up and the community, albeit a virtual community. The forums not only allow those of us who are not seeking any hook up to mingle with others, or just quietly read over some interesting topics, but it also allows those who are seeking a way to get to know others and how they interact, as opposed to reading an email from a stranger. One of the neat little features the site has is, in the event you see a profile on the other side that interests you, there is a button that says View Forum Posts. Anyone who may have found your profile appealing will also read your posts here.

Having just joined this site after lurking for a while... I will agree that the other part, is definately about hook ups to most... Though I had only been lurking on this part for many months, I have learned many interesting things... Noticed that most on this side are not poser wanna bes... And a fountain of knowledge... Just like anywhere you are just reading peoples opinions about things so you may or may not agree with them... though having perused Fet. I find this site not as hokey... Most there seem to be young facebookers that found a way to act like they are special, and friend as many as they can as to appear to look cool.... and most the groups are jokes... just my opinion though..

I do agree with DaddysInkedSlut. People want to hook up. Whether that be for play, a one night stand or a long term relationship, we hook up. The name we choose and our picture will be a form of presenting ourselves and it will get a response.
