Status: offline 		I've changed my profile now that I am actively seeking someone.  This is earlier than I was expecting to start looking, but I wanted Max to make the decision about when I started actively looking, and he gave me the go-ahead this morning.  I hope that I have managed to accurately reflect what my situation is and what my needs are.  What do you all think?

I'm posting this here because I am most interested in serving a man, but I welcome feedback from the Dommes here as well.

The only suggestions I have are to either drop the reference to your son, or else explain how it would affect any relationship with a Dom; and to be a bit clearer about what you want (service and regular beatings are a given - is sex a possibility?), and how Max would fit in.

Status: offline 		Des, you have a good point, and it's something I'm working on.  I haven't gotten involved yet because of the expense, and also because my schedule has been so full (I'm working on clearing it and have made good progress so far).  But I'm also not quite sure where to start, and if I can find someone who can give me a little guidance in that area, all the better.

Status: offline 		I liked it!  Being someone who participates in the kind of situation that you are hoping to find, this is the kind of profile that would get an excellent response from Me.  I think you did a great job. 

The only addition that I might make would be the suggestion that others have already given.  Add just one bit about that you do have a desire to get involved with the local community and just haven't had the opportunity yet.  It will clear the confusion for anybody who is already participating in the same.  You want to be clear that the potential service that you are willing to provide can be in the public area.  I've brought people to events, demos, and such who were in service to Me and there might be something that can be worked out as far as the cost factor.  (If you happen to be in service to someone who gives demos and are willing to be the demo doll for the presentation, you don't pay to attend anyway.)

Really good job.  If we were on the same coast, I'd take you on, Myself.

I'm wondering about that now, actually.  I was chatting with Max about this tonight and having him look over my new profile.  He wondered if I might not be better off favoring a woman rather than a man, and he had a good point about it.  I'm looking primarily for a service position, with sex not being the main focus.  I get the impression that a Domme might be more interested in the sort of strict service I'm looking for without wanting to immediately get into my pants.  I wonder if it might be a good idea to weigh both sexes equally rather than giving men extra consideration.

I'm also thinking that getting involved with the community here will have to happen sooner rather than later.  I doubt I'm going to find what I'm looking for here on cm.
