Kitten-in-a-Bucket

I can only assume (and believe) that it is carefully contemplating it's revenge!!

Daddysredhead -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/6/2011 8:07:40 PM)

Awwww.... poor little thing. *hehehe* It would have been great if it just went postal and wrapped itself around the camera operator. [:D]

aww.. reminded me of Gracious as a baby!

(I hope someone checked their shoes and pillows later..lol)

I can't believe it just sat there!! That does remind me of a clip I saw of a floating cat.

I was looking for another clip, but this is pretty cool!!

Damn, I saw the tag and thought it was a clip from the Cooking Channel. Now I'm hungry. I wonder if Ferret-On-A-Stick is still open.

Termyn8or -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/7/2011 5:19:11 PM)

I don't mean to take the wind out of the humor here.

Some cats actually do like the water, but alot of them don't know it. I wonder what may have been on the beginning of that tape, four people shoving the kitty in there ? Maybe.

Or maybe these are the kind of people who always bathe their pets, and the bucket was found to be a better way. After so many times they get used to it. I noticed a thing or two that supports that. For one there is a yellow thing floating in the water. Could it be a toy ? A bath toy for a cat ? Washcloth on top of the head. I think it's possible, but I think the matter of the kitty sitting there with that cloth for that amount of time was a matter of training. Some people are very good with animals and I don't think any type of severe negative reinforcement methods could result in this. Either that or the cat is just a fucking weirdo.

The other thing I noticed but have no explainaition for is the water dripping from the cat's front paws. OK so he got dunked, it's a bath. It won't kill him but....... Why was the water dripping so long ? It should stop dripping much earlier than that I would think. Where was this water coming from ? Would the wicking action of the fur account for that ? I tend to think not but I could be wrong. (if so mark it on the calendar of course)

This needs further study, does anyone know how to get one of those government grants ?

I wonder if they are slooooowly heating that water. You know, like with the frog.

*ducks and runs like hell*

Termyn8or -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/7/2011 7:27:01 PM)

I guess if you're always thinking the worst, things can only get better.

Except for the frog.

You know I thought something was wrong as I was watching the drippy paws!! Thanks for verbalizing that oddity!

BKSir -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/8/2011 12:16:38 AM)

A lot of the drippage is from the bucket being full to the top with water actually, if you look carefully at the floaty thing in there, and the water level. Also, I think it looks more annoyed with the thing on its head than the water. My baby girl swims with me and walks willingly into the shower or onto my chest when I'm in the bath. She loves water.

Termyn8or -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/8/2011 1:17:58 AM)

Just watched it again, yup it is full to the brim.

We may be well watching one that has a personality and is indeed plotting a revenge as the OP postulated.

SIR KITTEN IS NOT AMUSED.

Termyn8or -> RE: Kitten-in-a-Bucket (4/8/2011 5:10:01 AM)

SIR KITTEN ?

You may be right. Would a female really put up with that ?
