As an aside, I dont EVER recall McCain being asked for his Birth certificate before the election.
At least one of is parents is a citizen, he has resided for the requisite time in the US. Therefore, by the law of the land, he is as well.

Yeppers. Considering some of the issues facing the USA at the moment - 2 wars, massive deficits, trade imbalances, unemployment, people losing their homes ..... - it does seem a tad self indulgent to be focussing on such marginal issues as birth certs .......

Just an observation from an Australian friend if you don't mind .....
