At which specific station in which specific city and State? And which specific Social Security Number did he use?

Obama's SSN and BC are spelt FRAUDULENT.

You would think that even the most imbecilic nutsucker would say, wait a minute, and save that, knowing that even the illegal aliens they hire have an ssn that is nine digits, and you would think that they could provide credible proof that such a thing is true, that it happened,  rather than some absolutely laughable argument that a cat's owner's grandmother said thingie...........

Hyde Park Car Wash. 5100 block of Lake Park Avenue in Chicago.

Sort of inconvenient for your lies that I used to live in the same neighborhood as the President isn't it?

And exactly was the last time you needed your social security number to pump gas?

I'm not the one claiming to remember what it was like to pump gas as a gas station attendant/employee, Obama is. It would behoove you to do a little research before opening your mouth and making an a$$ out of yourself.

Liar. The video is available and he never claims to have worked at a gas station.

Sanity -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 10:49:25 AM)

I remember that the price of gas was laid directly at the presidents feet by leftists at the time

quote:

ORIGINAL: Charles6682

Thats funny, remember back in summer of 2008 when gas was over $4.00 a gallon.George Bush was the President then. So,did all the rightwingers with the pitchforks tell Bush who's in charge?

mnottertail -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 11:09:01 AM)

And the BIG OIL was making record profits from the situation. But there is some reluctance on the part of  'republicans' to disavow price gouging in favor of Big Oil.

You remember Kennedy, you've quoted him....

Simultaneous and identical actions of United States Steel and other leading steel corporations increasing steel prices by some $6 a ton constitute a wholly unjustifiable and irresponsible defiance of the public interest.....

Bout the same cavil, still.

Sanity -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 11:20:29 AM)

Yeah, that was the sort of spin, sort of like NPR is loathe to mention how Obama received far more money from BP than McCain...

Its all leftist spin, when a Rep is prez and Katrina causes oil prices to go up its all his fault even though the Rep says drill baby drill, BUT when a Dem prez shuts drilling down everywhere he possibly can and then fuel prices inevitably go up, its everyones fault but the one whose fault it is...

mnottertail -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 11:25:36 AM)

loathe, hardly.

Katrina only exacerbated it, due to the 'republican' reluctance to spread refining capacity, not from any lack of oil. 'Republicans'  are pretty dismal at the infrastructure thing.

Have to call you on that one. Eisenhower -our national roadway system.

http://newamerica.net/node/9476

From the above link:

"Would a modern Lincoln denounce infrastructure spending projects as boondoggles? Unlikely. As an Illinois legislator, Lincoln promoted an ambitious infrastructure scheme that bankrupted the state. Undeterred, Lincoln led the federal government to lavish subsidies on the railroads, which as a result nearly doubled American track miles between 1860 and 1870."

mnottertail -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 1:02:28 PM)

note that you are not calling me on that one, you are aware that I see several factions in the 'republican' party...   nutsuckers, nativists, neocons.... note that in those cases republicans was in air quotes and was done for a reason.

As I have said before, one of these days I am going to do a post on abe lincoln and other founders of this party, and prove that I am a republican, and nearly everyone else who says they are here is absolutely incorrect.

In fact, I commented in my journal of realpolitik that these guys nowadays are tossing DDE (Ike) under the bus regarding this corporate military industrial complex they are trying so very hard to replace our government with.

Called, and raised.

Cordially,
Ron

An who's fault was it, after the President was told the barriers, dikes, and walls around greater New Orleans might fail, given the intensity of Katrina just three days before the storm hit landfall? Mr. Bush is rightfully blamed for much of the problems resulting from Katrina. He failed to even grasp 10% of the total problem, let alone the remaining 90%. How much did that disaster cost in human life and limb, Sanity?

Plenty more then what your arguing, President Obama got from BP. So why are you NOT holding that '...Rep is prez and Katrina' to the same level, if not greater, of responsibility as you do with President Obama?

The point is, fuel prices are skyrocketing, people are seriously hurting because of it... many around the globe are literally going hungry because were devoting farmland to growing fuel, though we could simply pump more oil.

And we have this joker, Obama, laughing and saying he knows what its like, as if thats supposed to help those who are hit hardest.

I just can't take you seriously anymore.

Bush came from a wealthy family, yet you are calling Obama a "limousine liberal".

And where was all your criticism of Bush when gas prices were higher than now?

Not to mention the obvious fact, and the obvious always seems to escape you, that it is the turmoil in the Mid-East and the market's reaction to it that are driving up prices.

popeye1250 -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 5:16:09 PM)

If you're going to get student loans from the govt to go to college don't you have to prove that you registered for the draft if you're not a veteran?

Than you haven't been paying attention.Racistjim isn't "anyone",he is special....and he is a racist...so it was quite natural for him to assume Obama pumped someone else's gas....probably had a picture of him cleaning the wind screen too
Fucking asshole

If you honestly believe the U.S. could increase drilling enough to affect gas prices at the pump by more than a few cents over the next decade, you have no clue how big the oil market is, and how small U.S. production is.  Gas prices are rising because of skyrocketing demand from China and a perceived threat to global supply lines in the middle east, neither of which the U.S. can do a whole lot about.  Food prices are skyrocketing because much of the world, most notably Siberia, had bizarre weather this year, leaving a pretty big crop shortage.  Again, hard to blame Obama for global weather patterns, though I'm sure conservatives will find a way.

And if you want to talk about screwing the elderly on fixed incomes, how about Rep. Ryan's plan to have the median wage-earning senior spend more than half their pre-tax income on health insurance?  That seems like it'd be a bit more devastating to seniors on fixed income, and that plan doesn't have global forces outside of the United States' control to blame.

The real, and irrefutable, point is that during his 2008 campaign Obama/Soetoro proclaimed that under his "Cap and Trade" policies energy prices will necessarily skyrocket. And that's exactly what's happening and skyrocketing energy prices are causing food et al prices to skyrocket as a result.

Cap and Trade is based on the exact technique to control sulphur emissions.  Why is it so evil for carbon, but not for a nice capitalistic sulphur market?

BTW, pops, yes, guys need to show that they registered with the Selective Service folks.  What's the point?

servantforuse -> RE: Obama Remembers What It Was Like To Pump Gas (4/7/2011 6:52:18 PM)

I hope that gas prices are $5.00 a gallon 18 months from now. It will mean a sure defeat for Obama in 2012.
