yup, pretty much every magazine you see, every model you see, is distorted to present the image they want you to see. My daughter has done some modeling in the past and I've seen how they can completely transform. She's also an artist and I've seen her do the same things with her camera. It's always amazing to watch what can be done.

that Dove program for girls is an awesome thing too! I remember, years ago, watching something kind of like this. It was Cindy Crawford, and they actually took off some of her inner thighs! Fukn insanity..

Yup, aint no surprise to me, I've known for a very long time, that those beautiful pics we see of models on tv and in magazines, in the case of magazines have been air brushed and worked on till perfect, and that on tv, they had a very skilled crew of makeup artists, using makeup to make them look better than they do.

The idea of perfecting models may not be new, but it is interesting to see how the transformation is done.

years ago.. with my ex, we had our portrait done at a studio. When we got the pics back, they had 'taken the liberty' of airbrushing under my eyes. Looking at any of my face pics, you can probably guess what they did. I was NOT HAPPY.

Yes, images can be distorted. But making women prettier is not a new thing. Look at my profile: you'll see that I like women to wear heels. I am fully aware of how it transforms the entire the way she looks, beyond just her feet. Illusion is not necessarily a bad thing.

"transforming" your date/gf/sub/whatever is one thing, Malcolm... You KNOW what she looks like without teh heels/etc., and presumably, you care for her either way. but advertisers/magazines who do so (without showing the 'before' pics), to me, just perpetuates the idea that women HAVE to look JUST SO to be desired/desirable/successful/worthwhile.

I have never understood the obsession with heavily make-uped, artificial women. Keep your fake blond corporate created high maintenance women in their high heels, six layers of make-up and red dresses. They may be worthy of a fuck but that is all they are worthy of. Give me a real woman in overalls kneeling in the garden with her hands in the earth.

born and raised in the city. my idea of camping is a campground with FACILITIES. I have done 'primitive' camping,... cant say that I particularly like to shit in the woods...

Hey, I ain't that much into nature either. What I meant for was someone else to go out and shoot and hunt and fish. Not me. I just want that wild meat. Now when you bring it, I now how to charcoal something. I cook with gas inside in the winter. I cook with charcoal in the summer. Well I used to, but it's like riding a bicycle. At least around here. So y'all Wimmens get all dolled up and I will make you look like a two..... never mind, pictures are a buck apiece. T^T

Ain't it the truth! God bless the airbrush (photoshop). I've worked in the entertainment and advertising industries off and on since 1979. I settled down with an older girl in my late 30s, she was in her early 50s. She is very young looking for her age but hell, airbrush out the wrinkles in her old ass and here she is at age 67 all polished up.
