Well, thank you. I don't make any friends that way, let me tell you. If that were my goal, I'd be emoting on the P&RS forum. Or off-topic.
Sometimes I get a little carried away. OTOH, I got tear-gassed at the age of 18 in DC at an anti-war rally. I've always supported Progressivism. And it disgusts me to see some people laughing about pap smears at Walgreens while Republicans all around the country are trying their best to roll back Roe v Wade, and make abortion illegal under ALL circumstances. Yeah, that's real funny, forcing a woman who has been raped to carry the thing to term.
I'm always going to be a Progressive, but I'll tell you this: I am through with the Fight. I'm out of it. I've got another 20 years left and I'm not going to worry about womens rights, especially if womens rights are a fucking joke to some women out there who should fucking know better. I just don't care anymore. Let the refucklinazis run the country into the ground. Let them set up their Xstain theocracy. Let them cut taxes on the rich, and at the same time kill off old people who can't afford health care. Let them fire all the teachers in order to kill off all the Unions. Let them transfer all the tax money they soak the middle class for, to the weapons makers who, in conjunction with Big Pharma and Wall St., have bought Congress.
It's now up to the Gen Xrs and Gen Ys, and if they want to suck the rectums of the Kochs and Scaifes and Mellons and Dick Armeys and Newt Gingrich and all those scumbags who never, ever had their interests in mind anyways, well, more power to them.
It's out of my hands.
