ORIGINAL: Termyn8or I think I have too much time on my hands. Too much internet, too much "lay around the shanty mama and put a good buzz on"*. Too much of whatever I'm doing. Remember, even Jonathan Edwards found life outside of lazin' and buzzin'! [;)] quote:
I'd like to do something productive in some way. It would be nice to be able to sell something once in a while, but not a completely for profit hobby. That's called work. While I am only working a couple of days a week right now, it's not my idea to start a business or something like that. Even if I did that, I still need somethng else I WANT to do. IT can't cost alot of money but it doesn't necessarily have to make money. I simply am not the artsy craftsy type. The only thing I can draw half decently is a mechanical or electrical diagram. Music no longer holds my interest enough. Electronics has lost it's luster for me, plus building anything I would want to build would be too expensive. I like remodeling, but if I do it for myself I got time into it plus materials. If I do it for someone else I have to do it how they want it done - that means it is work. I mean something that is specifically not work. It can bring some money but that is not the goal. Got any ideas ? * if you haven't heard that one I can probably find it. This can occur when one is not born between the years of 1957 and 1970. T^T I'm going to echo the others who suggest gardening. Sounds to me like you would benefit from digging in the dirt and reconnecting with Mama Nature.
