You make a statement like yours, pahunkboy, and the truth comes out that your original arguement is not only untrue but misleading one of two things becomes true: A) You deliberately tried to miss lead readers into thinking only Democrats proposed such an effort. B) You failed to the check the information for both credibility and claification. Likewise pahunk, do you have any idea how much it costs someone to become a Senator or Representative these days? They are by no means, in the 'middle' or 'lower' class incomes. As such, they are among the least likely to be affected if Social Security changes for the worst. Which of two groups are more likely to be affected if Social Security is diminished: A) The Lower Class, B) The Middle Class, or C) The Upper Class? And which group has traditionally been the one that has sought to diminished Social Security? (Hint, its the one left over from the previous question....)
