For those who may not know or have forgotten, today is national weed day. This has been observed in these parts since the 1970s.

In strict observance to the tradition, I have a directory full of the appropriate holiday music like Adam Sandler- I'm Fucking Wasted, David Allen Coe - The Devil Went To Jamaica, Shel Silverstein - The Great Smoke Off and a bunch of others plugged into the 400 watter.

Not only that, these carols are being broadcast across the globe via the internet right now (Paltalk) in 16 bit 44.100 Khz Stereo using their proprietary compression technique. Yes we have a radio station. Transmitting now is Blue Riders Of The Purple Sage - Panama Red. Commecial free.

No FCC license needed, as if I cared. Free, no antennas. And yes in this thread it is antennas, not antennea. I mean antennae I think.

So the best of tidings to you and yours on this merry occasion. Remember that national weed day is when we, us, not them, can join together in the commonality of cannibus without regard to race creed, color, body odor, hairy genitalia or even having been born an animal or on another planet. When the spaceship comes we all get on. Like an ark. I'll put some speakers in it.

Besides it's even better than getting high on Christmas with all the relatives around. You'd be lucky to get it to go around once with all those ironlungs there.

It is also the date of a famous person's birthday. Everyone go ahead and take a hit, just be sure to wish Adolf a happy birthday too.

Update !

Well today was eventful. I had a nice talk with the doc about my eyeball. Then in the festive spirit grabbed a sixpack on the way home. Then Hibily showed up. We got pellets for the pellet gun and have to improve our varmint whackin skills. So he lit one up.

So as we are shooting the pellet gun we found it can be hard to load those newfangled kind into an old piece made for balls. (.177") It's a pump and the standard I run by is 12 pumps. He says it's as powerful as a .22. I don't buy it.

So I had to see if I could see, so I saw the pellet gun and decided to shoot it. Not the first time. I have this calendar from about 1994 or something and we shot at it a bunch of times. Discussed the trajectory and all that and he said he would just bring in a .22. I said if you want to shoot a .22 in here we are going to have to put a board of something behind that calendar.

There are already a bunch of those BBs or whatever in the wall. He goes to pull them out, I asked why. I said "Are they bothering you ? ". He sat down. But the question is : Do you think cheapo luan would be enough or should I go with something better, or thicker ?
