Seems most of the folks on this thread think Breitbart was in the wrong but I thought Bashir came to the interview with a very clear agenda judging my his very critical intro, conduct, and guilt by association analysis. On the other hand though Breitbart lost me near the end when he defended the idea of Bill Ayers having written Obama's autobiography!

Youre right, theres a mentality out there among leftists that the discussion and exchange of ideas is strictly forbidden, and anyone who doesnt bow down to the leftist mantra has to be destroyed. Not literally (yet), figuratively.

Demonized, slandered, smeared and shut up.

Regarding the Ayers controversy didnt Breitbart say that he wasnt convinced that  Ayers wrote it, but that the arguments were worth listening to?

Or somethinglike that?

Whats wrong with that.

I thought he went further than that. If I recall correctly, he said he believed the article proposing the notion. My only issue is that it is a pretty extreme idea and would need some fairly robust evidence to be provided before believing it.
