Last night I had a dream. God appeared before me and revealed the secret to universal peace and prosperity. It was so simple! All I had to do was tell a few people and the word would spread quickly! No more war! No more hunger! Hatred would be a thing of the past. We would all live long and fulfilling lives in an earthly paradise of love and beauty.
Unfortunately… as I was doing the sleepy man’s plod to the shower… I started thinking about a piece of leftover cheesecake I had in the fridge and whether it was still good enough to have for breakfast… and I forgot what God told me in the dream.
Sorry about that, folks.
(If it is any consolation… the cheese cake was delicious.)
