ORIGINAL: maybemaybenot Looking at it without a political twist: Seinfeld had every * right * to beg out, of course. That doesn't make it the proper thing to do. Kinda like a friend/aquaintence of mine asking me to cater a dinner party for them and I find out they are voting for Candidate X, and I don't like candidate X, so I say... sorry no can do, here's a grocery gift card. It's distasteful, imo. I also base that on my belief that if you make a commitment to a charity and others are depending on you to deliver your part in the charity event, you have a moral obligation to fullfill it, barring a significant complication. I think it was disrespectful to St. Judes. Donald Trumps response was indeed immature, imo. But.. I am trying to look at it as a Dad, whose son was disrespected < in the Dad's eyes > and a Dad's lashing back. Doesn't make it right, but it's understandable, to me. mbmbn What if you were hosting a friends event and found out they were nuts or just endorsed Rev.Fred Phelps? The dichotomy is left/right. It`s not political It`s ass-hat-turned loon/normal.
