But where was this nut(would-be POTUS) when bush and the republican controlled congress rescinded Libya's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism in June 2006.

Yep! We could very well be in our 4th war now (or 3rd, if you want to say the Iraq war is over), had Obama's running mate won the presidential campaign. I often wonder how that would be rationalized. I know one thing, we'd all be piss poor broke now. But again, I'm sure rationale would take care of that.

I don't like how involved we are in Libya now. Imagine how bad it would be with McCain as President.
