The audio input - am I missing something here as this idea seems to simple.

The audio input has to be connected to something that generates sounds - normally an mp3/CD player but it could be anything.

So if it was a computer then everytime an email comes in and a tune is played - zap!

Some webcams come with motion detection software, something moves - zap!

Then I thought what about the headphone socket on a mobile phone - a call comes in the ringtone plays (no need to answer) - zap - remote control from anywhere in the world!

So, what's your number ? With a phone, just get a prepaid and put the number on mensroom walls "For a good time call XXX-XXX-XXXX"

I've heard of this audio idea before, thinking about it you might want a source with a graphic equalizer. Different tunes will no doubt also have different results. I could send you an MP3 of one called "Woofer Cooker", maybe it'll cook that, ummm, you know....... In fact I have a hell of alot of music, but DO NOT hook it up to my stereo. It would be like plugging a wristwatch into a 220 line.

Never thought about a motion detector. Be still or else ! lol.

How about a microphone ? That might be fun.

Generally speaking the wave forms of estims are fixed. However there are some in the uk that take in wav or mp3 and although I am too lazy if you want google Uncle Abdul for all things electrical, if they make them in the US he's gonna have em.

You know, reading this post I realized that remote control vibrators have been around for a very long time, I even had one back in the 90's: Pagers.

I found one for $1 at a thrift store a while back and took it apart for the components. Now I'm wishing I hadn't. I know that pager service is still available, as people in the medical community still use them. It would be fairly easy to disconnect the tiny vibrator motor inside, hook a relay and battery pack to the leads, connect to a decent quiet egg vibrator.....Yes, it would take longer to "activate" than the traditional remote vibes, but no worries about distance from the remote, small "watch" batteries, etc. And considering most pagers had a tone or vibrate option, you could connect the leads to the speaker to the audio input mentioned in the opening post.

A-Box £129.00 Been out a very long times and still sells well
Series 2 £199.00 been on market 4 years and was the top unit before 2B
2B £299.00 not used this one yet but it got a lot of modes and a usb link.
