A Southern California gang member has been convicted of first-degree murder in the killing of a rival whose death authorities say was immortalized in an elaborate tattoo of the crime scene on the gangster's chest.

Seattle Times/AP story here

Quite a story, and quite a stroke of luck for the cops.

I like the part where it says "Me Rivera" just in case there was some confusion that the tattoo was about another Rivera.

Yep. He broke the McVeigh rule, on top of his ink and jailhouse confessions. If you really don't want to deal with the cops, don't give them a reason to pull you over.

Hunky, bigoted ? Don't you know we have to let every fucking scumbag in no matter what ? That's why immigration requires all kinds of bullshit from people who have skills, other than killing that is.

Don't get me wrong, dude's a scumbag but I think if he killed someone who deserved it they should fine him $100. And I have no problem with drug dealers. If the government didn't fuck with them there would be no problems. Let's put it this way, if you bring in 100 kilos of dope, you ain't gonna rob anyone. In fact we could use the tourist dollars.

I wonder what the other guy did to get killed. It probably wasn't for taking the wrong parking spot. Well it could be if "rivera" was sufficiently Americanized.
