I have much respect for Prince William. He's been very low key after his mother's death & I believe his wedding suited him well. Harry on the otherhand....I expect shaken champagne bottles aimed at the guests/bridal party with the song "Blow" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ruh-wuTHUw

Lucylastic -> RE: the royal wedding (4/29/2011 6:35:07 AM)

I loved the fact that Harry has ordered bacon butties for six in the morning at the reception
I can imagine the partying will be going for hours and hours, they will need bacon butties:)
heh

Ewwww, yeah over 20 million £ just for the costs of the Metropolitian police, in times when they raise the taxes and cut funding for about everything the plebs needs, how wonderful to waste so much money for a wedding most of the country doesn't really want or care about, it would be better spent on schools and hospitals, not on two rich kids getting married. I mean if the Americans like them so much, I would suggest that Las Vegas gets a nice plastic castle that can also be a hotel and they keep them as a tourist attraction. I must say I'm actually proud of the area I live in (well, for the first time ever), there is ONE house that has 2 flags out, and the woman who lives in it has one of those wonderful orange spray tans, wears several inches of makeup and has 2 yapping rats, go figure who cares for the Royal Wedding...

It was pretty fly, like a soiree on T Pain's biggest boat. The Society of the Spectacle at its bedazzling best. I was so proud of the Bonnie Ginger Prince Harry too as I'd half-expected to see him show up rocking a Jack Wills polo with the collar popped under his very best Hugo Boss SS uniform blazer. Good job not embarrassing yourselves House of Windsor! May all your future indiscretions and humiliations be private ones!

Yea, I always like Fergie too[:)]

to the OP, I'm going to blame it on Disney and others who have fed us stories of growing up and meeting your Prince Charming, for as long as I can remember.

[I think Harry is gay. I have no explainable reason for this, its just a gut feeling I get when I see pictures of him, especially video. Maybe something about the way he moves.

Heather

Yes!  I was going to post this earlier!  Harry makes me gaydar go off like an air raid siren.  There's nothing in particular I can point out, I just have a really strong feeling about it.  And if he is, I really feel bad for him - he'll have a hard road ahead of him.

He's never set this queen's gaydar off, but then mine has needed recalibration for a while. I'd love it if he were!

Hats. Fabulous hats.

servantforuse -> RE: the royal wedding (4/29/2011 8:18:00 AM)

Will there be an open bar at the reception ?

susie -> RE: the royal wedding (4/29/2011 8:36:26 AM)

Worst look of the day....
apart from the 2 Princesses with the hideous hats and outfits was Victoria Beckham. As usual she looked stuck up and her face looked like she had sucked a lemon.

Just got a text from my bro. He's going to be on a Channel 4 programme about people who were 'un-celebrating' the wedding today. Fun!

MaxsBoy -> RE: the royal wedding (4/29/2011 9:02:31 AM)

She's a frickin copycat!  When I got married back in '06 I wore that dress, had my hair like that, had the same tiara, everything!  [sm=angry.gif]

That's really funny actually.  And I got my dress from David's for $500.
