Okay, if a six is almost fainting and a seven is actually fainting, then what comes after that? Fainting, to me, would be equalled to passing out. I can only assume that after passing out would be serious bodily injury (broken bones?) and then death.
I've never fainted nor felt as though I would faint during a scene. My most brutal and violent scenes usually involve severe pain (vaginal stretching, cutting, whipping), though none of it has actually involved fainting spells or passing out. I've also never gone to the hospital as a result of a scene, nor am I, of course, dead. However, I'd say I have a rather high tolerance for sexualized pain and can possibly take what other people might pass out during.
So, after all that, I'd say I'm the equivalent of a 7 to 8, based on your scale, but maybe a 5 or 6 based on the scale of many of my extreme masochistic friends.
