On a scale of 1-10 10 being the highest Pain taken
what number best describes You?

I'm a {6} will take most till I almost faint...

But at a guess, i'd say 5 or 6 ....

Status: offline 		I'm more towards a high 7 or 8. I like to flirt and play with 9 and when the dominant wanted, I've been pushed past 10.

Status: offline 		I cannot say i have a pain number, for me my pleasure in the pain has always been as good as the dominant leading me. So i guess my pain number would be directly related to their skill level.

Status: offline 		this slave will take whatever amount of pain Master wishes for it to have. it has yet to reach the point of fainting, although on 2 occassions it almost wishes it had. If a number must be used to indicate pain level, 10.

Status: offline 		I would say i will have to be a 2 or 3 i cannot take much pain although i like spankings as long as they are not too hard.  I was lucky to find a Master who is not a sadist he really does not like to give me pain he would rather give me pleasure without the pain.

Status: offline 		my pain level depends on how im feeling. whilst it turns me on, i find it much more useful to get my "shit" out of my system .. if i had a bad day or bad week etc, and got punished hard then whilst i would be turned on, i also cry and cry and cry ... thats when my threshold is highest, probably a 6.5 .... but if im not upset or stressed or emotional, then i would say a 4/5 ...

actually i would say my nipples can cope with 7/8 ....

I dunno, it seems a bit too much to tempt the gods by saying I've taken a 10, but I've certainly taken pain that had me on the floor, with the wind knocked out of me.

Status: offline 		The only time I have been asked to rate pain is during medical situations by medical staff -- accidentally natural childbirth, broken bones, non-drug semi surgical procedure.  I found it hard to rate, but think the highest I ever told them was a seven.

During a scene?  Hell if know.  There are things that seemed incredibly painful, but relatively brief.  When it was over, it was over.  Then there are things that seemed jus moderately painful, but effects were annoying or painful for days.  I guess if forced at gun point to choose a number I will go with a 5.

Status: offline 		Heh.  This question reminds me of comedian, Brian Regan, when he talks about being in the ER and having to describe his pain.  He said a 10 is reserved for broken femurs, and a 9 for childbirth.  Knowing if he came in at a low number he wouldn't be seen for hours...."I'd give it an 8.  Yeah, an 8."

Anyway, me?  Pain?  Can we reach into negative numbers?  Heheh, I'm such a wimp.  I'm assuming the number here would describe our pain tolerance level.  I hate pain.  I am intrigued by pain, but I hate it.  Mostly.  Sometimes I love it.  Hmm.  I'd say a 4.  I've probably taken a 6 or 7 but I was a baby about it.

Status: offline 		I would say I started out at around a 4 and have moved up to a 5/6 with hopes of going higher in the very near future. What I have found interesting being new to this lifestyle is how I now crave the pain instead of just enduring it.

pain level???? hmmm - how would one really describe that accurately. i agree i have various tolerance levels at different times. Sometimes a light smack can send me soaring and other times a hard beating leaves me wanting more. It depends on where i'm at i suppose. But on an average probably between a 7 to 8.

Status: offline 		It's all relative. I rate the pain of childbirth at about a 6-7. An earache, I'd rate about a 3-4 .. a stubbed toe would get a .10, a papercut a .005. When I had to have my gallbladder removed the pre-op pain was worse than childbirth.. I give that a solid 7. My endo pain is the worst pain I've ever experienced.. that would be my top scale of 10 with a broken bone at 8-9. Pain from Himself.. worse would be around the same as pain from childbirth.. a bit on the mild side but a whole different kind of pain and one which I relish and look forward to getting. I don't think it's possible for it to go higher than a 6 or so for me because I go into subspace before that and don't feel pain after I'm there.

edited to add: I almost forgot about pain from severe burns, over a large % of the body, I would image that's the worst sort of pain, but I haven't experienced it myself.
