And what would be your last choice?

My first choice: Valhalla.

My last choice: The hereafter of Roman Catholicism.

Of course, Valhalla would have to have motorcycles and skydiving, not just battles. Ooh, I know--motorcycle jousting! When evening arrives, each day's winners get to screw the wenches of their choice 364 ways from Christmas, while each night's "losers" get ass-fucked by Xena-type women with grotesquely large strap-ons. Everybody's a winner in Valhalla!

So you've entirely come to terms with the prospect of your eternal annihilation? You're ahead of me, then.

I would either go to Valhalla or the Fields of the Aesir because after all, that is part of my religion.

I like the Christian notion of heaven where everything is perfect and you can do whatever you want all day.

Not really. i just like it better than the prospect of living eternity under any known religion.

Whoops didn't read the Atheist part (sub subconscious rebellion), agnostic is close enough? Anyway, here it is.

You die, but don't know you die.

Things start working out in a way, that you would have hoped they would. You may experience pain, suffering or whatever is necessary to lead to your growth. It continues, one day when you are completely satisfied with the outcomes, and in harmony with yourself. You are reborn into a different situation than before, repeat, process until you were born as everyone that ever existed.

You will be born as every man, woman, and child that ever lived. Time is an illusion, you were every person you've ever met. At the end of time, you will have experienced the fullness of all human experience the good and bad, and you eventually come to terms with each self you were born into, and then you have understanding, and see what fools every one of us are, and how great we(you,I) can be.

hehe, or you just fall asleep.

That was quite beautiful. Do you read Rumi, by any chance?

Yeah, that's fine. I only directed the thread to atheists because I assumed most afterlife-believers (not precisely the same group as theists, but close) wouldn't be very interested in a discussion on fantasy-afterlife when they've already been convinced there's a reality-afterlife.

I don't know if any religion has this one.

What I'd like is a version of "If I knew then what I know now"

Simply Reincarnation with the knowledge and lessons of your previous life intact.

With the possibility of being reincarnated as a self-aware life form on any one of an infinite number of planets in an infinite universe! Yes? It would be interesting to say the least to find out how many truly universally relevant life lessons there are.

The one with the 72 virgins sounds pretty good to me.

Oh... but wait a minute... that would render all future cuckoldress fantasies useless, wouldn't it?

Forget it... just put me in the ground...

They never said it would be 72 female virgins. Careful of what you wish for.

Absolute justice. By that I mean you experience every thing you ever did to anyone, good or bad. Smack your olady ? Experience what it's like to not only feel the smack but the [nonconsentual] submissive feeling. Fuck someone over, feel the loss. Do it good so they can't get it back, experience that as well, from their perspective. Rape, kill, hurt steal ? You now experience what the victim experienced. No holds barred. Every thing you have ever done against anyone comes back to you, with the exception of justifiable revenge.

And anyone who does not believe there is justifiable revenge is simply brainwashed.

T^T
