I think people have individual flaws, not necessarily Dominants.

However, the biggest generalization I can make regarding flaws is how often someone just thinks they are dominant, but in reality, they are not the least bit so.

I would imagine it is the same with some subs.

I have only known two dominants intimately, and they were both vastly different from one another. They each had their own mixture of faults.

Weird.  For me, it's very nearly a deal breaker if he's not bisexual.  But everyone has their individual preferences.  As long as you are only excluding people from your dating pool and not refusing to be friendly or civil or professional towards them, I don't see an issue with someone who prefers to date only heterosexuals, or only homosexuals.  I strongly prefer to date bisexual men who aren't stuck relating to me strictly in male to female headspace.  But it's just a personal preference, not a value judgement about other human beings.

I have only known two Dominants intimately, and I am married to the One. The other was a douche who stole my stuff, including meds out of my pocketbook, and dumped me and a dependant child on near-strangers without warning so he could bail to another state and not look back. After several years and having found true happiness with the One I was meant for, this same douche has the gall to email me and talk about how he did me a favor and that the good life I had now was thanx to him. (NOT)

At any rate, without having read the rest of the posts here and not knowing whether generalizations such as mine are what was called for in this case, I will say that it seems pretty academic to me, that Dominant-types should have the same or similar wide range of wildly random human imperfections and such. I know a few Dominant posters on these boards who would almost certainly agree, even those who deserve the 'title' as opposed to the majority who do not.

This is meant to insinuate no one and nothing other than my own personal opinions. YMMV.

i don't look at as flaws. domme have preferences that may have that might not be in sync with mine.

We ALL have flaws, dominant and submissive folk are human, after all.

But since you wanna talk about dominants in particular, it irritates me that some of them want the title and respect, but are not willing to take responsibility for their 'dominance'.

Not a flaw - just a personality difference - but I dislike Dominants who are so darn domly that they can't take a joke.

I worry about physical flaws. Erectile dysfunction is quite common, and I'm not sure I can be happy with a master who can't quite perform :(
