(boy am i asking for trouble...lol, but here goes---and remember, this is submitted respectfully and most likely, pure fantasy)[:D]

1. Remembers to "Court" a submissive first. *there is no such thing as an "instant sub, just add water."
2. Recognizes a submissives vulnernabilities/weaknesses and helps the sub to grow in a fashion that is beneficial/healthy.
3. Is affectionate.
4. Punishes when 'needed' and not for their own satisfation.
5. Is confident, not "cocky"
6. Attentive - when a sub is confused about boundaries, limits they carefully watching their subs reactions to various scenes, encounters..etc.
7. Remembers how much a submissive aims to please, and is grateful and rewarding when Dom is pleased.

So, first I have to court you, then I have to deal with your "vulnernabilities/weaknesses" and help you grow, all while being affectionate, only punish you when you "need" it, must be modest about having the skills to balance this entire act, pay constant attention to you, keeping my headspace on you rather than my enjoyment, and be grateful for being allowed to do the above?
 
Is it too late to apply for submissivehood?  I hope I haven't missed the deadline cause it sure sounds like a wonderful deal!

Yes nella,..  His kids were perfect, his ex wife was wonderful , and his parents never made a single mistake.. EVERYTHING he touched turned to gold.. He was the Midas Dom....ooooooo too funny

Nice list. ::chuckles:: The thing is, you get to decide what you want and discard what doesn't work for you. Your list wouldn't be my list, but it doesn't have to be.

Sounds grand but perhaps a little too broad?
Perhaps you could narrow it down more effectively by renaming the thread (and the concept) as
''Nella's 7''
or perhaps even more definitive,
''Nella's seven criterion for being The Perfect Dom''?

The problem is that it, in and of itself is not a perfect list of criterion, and will likely be heavily ammended. It may also vary by applicable Dom (no such thing as add water Doms either), so the ratio's (x/7) and other hard factors balances may not all coincide so delightfully.. so now you have to tweak (widen) the bandwidth, which affects power output (strength of signal) and range (how far you can be heard), so finding the exact noncombustable set of recipe ingredients can be an extreme challenge.

It's just like finding perfect anythings... finding the perfect dog for instance (no pun intended), is essentially like saying ''This dog is so amazing and perfect in every way... I adapted to him/her so easily!''... [:)]

No doubt your (or anybodys) Perfect Dom is out there for real too... there's one behind every tree! [sm=flying.gif]

LOL NastyDaddy...well said! [:D] I do like the "Nella's 7"...perhaps I should write a book (*grins) I'm so glad you were perceptive enough to see that it was pure "fantasy." No one is perfect[;)] I'm sure a Dom would have a hard time with me...lol.
