Bullshit, Mike. I was repeating what the talking heads on the tube were saying, as they tried to fill the time before he took the podium more than an hour late. Not that the news wasn't worth waiting for, but that's what they said.

It's funny: Being a wordsmith myself, I actually thought sympathetically of the WH folks have to crank out the speech so quickly! I thought they did a good job, except for quoting the Pledge at the end. That edged across the line into bombast imho.
