Rummy says so too

Torture did not get the vital intel that led to OBL. Bush and Cheney tarnished the good name of the USA for nothing.

Oh, I didn't know you were going  to say it again. It must be true.

If you repeat a lie enough times it becomes the truth.

Now who was it that said that?

I don't always agree with Senator Graham's political stances but he has repeatedly demonstrated he is a man of good character who follows his conscience rather then being led by his political affiliation.

From your link:

Not all Republicans are claiming that bin Laden's killing vindicates torture. At a Capitol press conference Tuesday afternoon, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) stood apart from his colleagues in the GOP. "This idea we caught bin Laden because of waterboarding I think is a misstatement," he said. "This whole concept of how we caught bin Laden is a lot of work over time by different people and putting the puzzle together. I do not believe this is a time to celebrate waterboarding, I believe this is a time to celebrate hard work."

Many gullible people haven't realized yet that this whole story is a big hoax!
Not even a sophisticated one.

Thank God we finally have someone who knows the truth.  [8|]

Teeth grinding, minds spinning...FDD and Sanity are completely flummoxed ,what are they to do.It is undoubtedly a great and long overdue occasion....and yet it was accomplished while the wrong man occupied the Oval Office.
With this to add to his resume...the entirety of the President's agenda is enhanced....and the desperation on the right is multiplied.Should they even hold a Republican convention in 2012...perhaps it is only right and fitting that they attempt the empty gesture of nominating a woman for the office(someone needs to contact Bachmann or Palin and determine their willingness to lose in'12)....who will willingly step forward and be this cycle's McCain ?

Are you trying to imply that the usa had reputation for anything besides being a bully before bush&co?
All they did was enhance it.

Maybe in 2016, but I don't think Obama will be defeated in 2012.

I feel much the same way about him as I do about Graham.

Obama has pissed off a large part of his base because he did what he thought was right rather than what was politically expedient.

And while he has pissed me off at times too, I have to give credit to anyone who has the courage of their convictions.

That is just beautiful. I can't think of anything as special as seeing you bust a blood vessel.

Not at all. Would suppose republican congressman won't be playing "who has the biggest dick in the room" with Obama anytime soon. lol

ArizonaBossMan -> RE: The INFO came from GITMO (5/4/2011 6:53:51 AM)

The info actually came from all the apologizing for america that your boy was doin. People all over the world suddenly loved us and turned in osama bama. biden actually was the trigger man on the attack. That's the story I'm hearing. We luvs muslims and are so sensitive to them. And to think obama would play big dick with anybody is a joke. Michelle is his mistress. Everybody knows it. osama bama was going to go public with that information. That's the word on the street. Word up, muchachos.

DomYngBlk -> RE: The INFO came from GITMO (5/4/2011 6:57:05 AM)

LOL Hands are slipping on the rope. you are going to fall no matter what. So why are you trying to keep grasping?

Owner59 -> RE: The INFO came from GITMO (5/4/2011 6:58:40 AM)

"Would that be because leftists real enemies are their fellow Americans"

What party was cheney in when he leaked the secret ID of our CIA agent working under-cover in a foreign country without diplomatic cover and blew the cover on a foreign intel gathering operation?

That would be the rightest party, the GOP.

And that`s fact,history,the record,not weaselly whines from a rightest.

Sanity -> RE: The INFO came from GITMO (5/4/2011 7:01:51 AM)

Cheney did that?

Quick, better alert someone in the media, because they are all reporting that it was Libby who let that slip. [:)]

Ha ha,a little treason humor from the right.

Here it is from ABC News....

They gave it up after they had been broken.

FatDomDaddy, read your link. You can say it was after he was broken, but the fact is "He (Muhammed) acknowledged knowing him (the courier) many months later under standard interrogation" Many intelligence people have said that standard interrogation produces the best results.

Interesting article on the issue:

Break In Hunt for Bin Ladin May Have Been Provided By Not Only Enhanced Interrogation Techniques, But by Enhanced Interrogation Techniques Performed On An Al Qaeda Operative Captured in Iraq

Complex, with a lot of links to other sources, but worth the read, I think.
