Why are Muslims against cremation? Wonder how many virgins he will get!

It's considered disrespectful to Allah since it is not our right to destroy a body, only Allah's. Plus fire is  reserved for hellfire and is seen as a punishment.

And there's the view that in the End Times the bodies of those Chosen by Allah/God will rise again.

There would have been no place on dry land where the grave wouldn`t have been molested or fucked with, other than maybe Fort Knox.

Burial at sea was a good idea.

There are scavenger fish at the bottom of the ocean that eat everything down there and those fish will eat him until nothing is left but bones.

Wouldnt someone try to recover the body?

I mean- like they would have to guard the dump site until the sharks ate the body.

I wonder how quickly a body is eaten up by fish.

Not so sure sharks would want to eat something that evil

Worms got a right to eat too.[:D]

No, lonewolf, he deserved better treatment than that.

I think he should have been put in a radioactive coffin and buried in a toxic wasted dump.

Owner59 -> RE: Buried at Sea? (5/3/2011 5:46:38 PM)

That`s a bit childish and would reflect poorly on us.

I once heard a guy in St Thomas spout about how we should bury them wrapped in hog skins upside down as well as a few other choice sick assed rituals that involved messing with their junk(dicks).

He went on for ten minutes and seemed quite sure that this fucking w/ dead bodies weirdness would keep them from getting into heaven.

I asked him where he got all of this and he claimed that this is what the ruskies did to Muslims.

I don`t think the soviets are folks we should emulate or learn from in this regard.

I just finished reading a book called The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill. (Dan Hill's brother,Everytime we touch the honesty is too much, and I think related to Malcom Gladwell who in turn is related to Colin Powell, I think is how it goes)

It is about a woman who was stolen from Africa and literally shipped over to the USA in the mid 1700's and her horrendous tale of disgusting slavery. They threw folks off the ship on the regular, it was where you went when you died or were bad.

It annoys me when it seems anything folks question/talk about other than what you find in the mainstream/pablum media coverage gets called a freaking Conspiracy Theory. I do like all the cute names we make up when folks faction off and ask question or make even ridiculous claims, Crackers, Teabaggers, Birthers etc etc etc etc.

Me too. A pretty effective tool at getting folks to tow the "party line" - fear of being marginalized as a nutter. Asking questions, being inquisitive, entertaining possibilities.... I consider these to be good attributes.

Well, whilst the oceans are polluted enough, so is the air I am afraid...whilst I do agree with you and feel sorry for the creatures in that pond, I don't think we should risk to add him to the disaster what happened in japan...after all...tanks "can" leak [&:]

I am sure some creatures down there will enjoy him inside out and maybe they even find a heart in there somewhere....I know sounds highly unlikely but I don't mind to let such creatures search for it [;)]

A while ago they brought a show about little fishy worms which are known to have travelled into penis's from harmless swimmers (though they were in the amazon...)...so in case there are also some of those down there they can explore him....and at least he has had some use at the end after all....as fish food....

The conspiracy nuts will have a field day with that one i'm sure
