My everyday drinking and cooking wine is Yellowtail, an Aussie brand that is great quality for the price. They offer drinkable Chardonnay and Shiraz for $6-7 a bottle. If you can go $12-15, I would suggest Kendall Jackson Chardonnay (a very well known brand) or perhaps Genesis (Brand name) Meritage (blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Malbec) Red Table Wine. Both are excellent wines and well worth the increased price tag if/when you can afford it. If you really want to know about wine, however, go to the library and do some research and then start tasting. The best wine is a wine *you* like.
