What do you think the point is?

You attack Bush based on your lies about his military experience, while Obama doesnt have any military experience. You attack Bush  based on your spin about his business experience, yet Obama has no business experience either.

And so on.

Obama was never in the military at all. Never ran a business... and hides all his records.

Bush hid in the National Guard to stay out of Vietnam and ran a string of failed businesses.

What's your point?

I wish both extreme sides would get a clue and shut up.

Bush was the president. He's important. He's welcome, and should be there. If he chooses not to do so, OK.

Obama is the president. He's important. He should be there. He should and did invite Bush, important as the former president.

Proud of the way Obama out Bushed Bush are ye

No diplomacy

No Miranda

No trial...

Just invade Pakistan, kick in a door, and bang youre dead.

The point here being, Obamas greatest successes have come as a result of his continuing Bush policies

Wrong on both counts. You (and others) consistently assume positions I don't hold, primarily because you cling to a non-existent left/right paradigm.

For the rest--I disapprove of both their policies in many ways.

That doesn't change the point--they are/were the president.

Whatever you need to maintain your straw house.

I'd be interested in seeing direct quotes of these "extreme" positions.

Again, we see the extreme rabid rightists shooting the messenger, derailing, denying, strawmanning, and doing everything possible to try and take the focus away from debating the logic, the reason, the facts, and the correct conclusions of the center and left, in order to hide the fact that they have failed policies, have lied to the American People,  are inept in government, and have not reduced the deficit, only made it larger, and they are borrowing and spending, and are only concerned about hysterical ideologies, wearing their contempt for america on thier sleeves, and destroying this country.

Yup, the fact that this thread is about bush as a no show at ground zero, and instead the extreme rabid right is shooting the messenger, instead of staying on topic.

I am sorry, when you accept certain positions they are more than jobs. And yes, I would show up.

As anyone who has ever read my posts knows, I am not a fan of Dubya.

Having said that, I have a great deal of respect for the way he has chosen to retire from it graciously.

Its good to see that others are noticing how MSNBC is everything that leftists try to claim about FOX

quote:

ORIGINAL: ResidentSadist

Bush can't take credit away from Obama, he canceled the hunt and disbanded the unit.  Bush gave bin Laden a free pass in 2005 . . .  which is when that house was built.

Have you seen what the news is doing to Bush?  Hell, MSNBC has an anti republican and anti Bush campaign running. They show clips of Clinton, Obama and Bush saying bin Laden is the #1 biggest terrorist threat.  Then cut to to a reporter asking Bush if he found bin laden.  Bush says bin Laden doesn't seem like the head of anything much and that he doesn't think about him anymore.  This followed by Obama issuing a renewed hunt and the sound bite where OBL was found and killed.

They are taking back to back clips of republicans making fearful predictions and a clip that refutes it as bullshit.  It's a mess out there for republicans right now.  I wouldn't want to show my face either.

So, Bush didn't actually say that?

Thats a lie, Bush didnt say what you are claiming he did in that video

Heres a better link to his full answer, at least more of it than came through from your link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PGmnz5Ow-o

Its amazing how you post things like this then howl when others question or criticize your own with legitimate concerns...

And you missed the point of my post anyway, I was noting how ResidentSadist was gloating over how MSNBC is running an "anti republican and anti Bush campaign" while so many leftists complain so vehemently about FOX NEWSs far more balanced approach

Got a mouse in your pocket? mm is one of the few posters on here that I can actually respect. Maybe you are confusing him with someone else.

Respect wasnt at issue, boi.

I responded in the plural tense because he wrote that I "and others" "consistently assume positions (he doesnt) hold".
