So a new profile as I was unhappy with my last one... again...

I have been using this site for a number of years now. I have contacted several people and been contacted. And I have seen the same people on here over the years.

So I was wondering. If you have been here a while and are still looking. Why do you think that is? Have you just not found the right thing? Are you too picky? Is it standards? Distance? Looks? And what keeps you coming back?

For me it is the vain hope that you are out there whoever you are. Am I fooling myself? If after all this time should I just accept it's not going to happen?

I would certainly like to read any responses from those still looking. Especially that rare creature The Dominant Woman :) how hard is it for you to find the right sub? Is it as hard as us shy submissive men?

Speaking for myself, I mostly use this site for the forums. I do contact women whose profiles seem to mesh with me, but I don't expect much to come of that.

I also use this site to check people out. If I meet someone at a local event, I'll check out their collarme profile, as well as the profile on another site. In one case, I met a woman at a party who was lovely, funny, intelligent - she had it all. I checked out her profile on the other site and found out she was heavily into blood play and needles, two of my hard limits, so I regretfully didn't chase her.

Welcome back to CM and the boards. The other side is what you make of it. And on this side, there's some great discussions, a lot of wonderful people to meet and befriend. Threads go from the insane, to the inane, the funny, the serious and everything in between.

I've been on the site for just over 2 yrs now, under different nics. I've made some wonderful friends since I've started chatting on this side. The other side, not so much. But after all, it is the internet. People have been known to meet on the site and have been together for years. Others, like me, are still waiting for the Dominant who'll find me. I'm not holding my breath, but you just never know when the right man will come along.
