Here is one interesting fact for those who are ticklish. Try to tickle yourself. It does not work. Its all in your mind. You are only ticklish when somone else trys to tickle you!

Actually, I can tickle myself, though only my feet. I truly hate being tickled, and if I'm not restrained my arms will automatically move to block any contact in sensitive areas. My feet will also run away on their own if anyone gets close. Needless to say, I've found that sadists really looooooove ticklish people.

Yeah - tickling includes a surprise factor, and you can't tickle yourself without already knowing your intention. Just as you pre-know exactly where you intend to tickle and duration etc.

One of my favourite scenes for a new sub (new = surprise factor to the extreme) is to secure her by the wrists with a ceiling tie and ankles bound, lay out a selection of floggers for her consideration, apply one blindfold and introduce her to tickle torture.

The only hard part is keeping up with her as she hops in circles....

I adore tickling in all forms though. It can be sensual or extreme, but it doesn't have to always be extreme.
