awaress.. it is my personal opinion that you are a twat to the Nth degree.

yes, I will get a gold letter for this, and at this point, I have restrained myself enough and LONG enough that I'll take it, and happily.  You come across as an arrognat, ethnocentric idiot, and the fact that you have not GOTTEN that from the numerous replies to your hateful posts just says to me that you are a hopeless narcissist.
*sigh*  It's spelled "Awareness" Greedster.   I feel wounded that you couldn't even spell my name right.

And five bucks says you won't get anything of the sort.  The moderation here is hardly impartial.

Calm down.  You'll burst a blood vessel.  And try to remember that some people are a little more subtle with their humour and selective with their affections than others.

Now.  Are you sweeping a roof or what?

Another side note I remember about the Dutch when I was there in 2004.....they seemed to like giving me the 3rd degree about George W. Bush, like it was my personal fault that he got elected, lol. They'd look at me suspiciously for a minute or two, and then ask, "Sooooooooooo, do you like Boosh?"

My experience with people is that they generally recognize the difference between the people of the USA and the government of the USA.

In Los Angeles, we get tourists of all sorts, obviously. I hate New Yorkers that come here and complain about EVERYTHING. It's like, go back already! I generally don't get irritated with any others, although I did find it amusing once when a Middle Eastern woman asked if we had an "international travelers" discount. I tried not to laugh in her face at that one, esp when she tried to convince me she had gotten it all over the place.

I went to China one time with a group of American tourists. GAH!!! They were incredibly annoying & very entertaining. Like the time we were leaving the restaurant & there were two ladies admiring the fish swimming around in the tanks in the lobby of the restaurant. They were trying to figure out what the signs--written in Chinese characters-- said about the fish. I loosely translated fro them: "dinner". They were a little shocked & distressed. [8D]

And when we went to the silk factory & were given the tourist presentation about the life cycle of the silkworm & the process by which it becomes silk, there was a woman on the tour who kept interrupting & telling the presenter that he had it all wrong. I affected a Norwegian accent & pretended I didn't even understand English. [8|]

If I were being really honest here, I have a bit of a problem with the Chinese.

They just shuffle around with their heads down and have absolutely no awareness of people round them. No dynamism whatsoever; how they are about to become masters of the universe is beyond me.

A few year back one (yeah, 'one' sounds like 'those creatures', but there is some truth in this before I get the racist comment from all angles) just shuffled out in front of the road right among passing traffic, with very little chance of escaping being mown down, and promptly got blitzed by a fella on a bike. The bloke on the bike was livid and nearly banjoed the Chinese lad, and he would have deserved it.

I know Sun Tzu advocated a love of peace as the means to win your battles, but I'm not sure it's the same thing as not looking at anyone/thing for fear of conflict.
