  Oh, something else I forgot to mention.

America's health system is atrocious in many ways, but the ONE thing they do better than anyone else in the world is achieve positive outcomes for cancer.

Given your resources, I would suggest you consult with oncologists in the USA.  The Mayo clinic in Rochester is highly regarded.

Hi Aneka,

When I was sick in 1999, I found Dr. Andrew Weil's "Spontaneous Healing" to be useful. Best wishes to your Beloved.

A day of surprises and delight in the fora, indeed. This is as I believe as well Awareness.

Ah you have quoted the favourite of mine. This I use often to those who cannot grasp my beliefs and way of life.

And yes, I have already begun arrangements to consult with specialists in America. Heidelberg was, for varied reasons, easier to arrange and it too is most highly recommended, thus we have come here first.

Again my Beloveds and I thank you all for the kindnesses you have all shown. That so many would demonstrate such concern for the slave of one but newly come to these fora is a joy to us. I shall pray that My Goddess will grant you each your heart's desire.

Be at peace
Aneka

For my friends who have wished my Beloveds and I well in this time of difficulty, we again extend our thanks.

We have arrived in America and Miryam is now admitted to a clinic. Treatments have now been started and a surgery is considered. My Beloved is weak and ill, but continues to face all bravely. The Doctors have expressed optimism for her outlook.

Be at peace
Aneka

Welcome to America.  May Spirit be with you all.

Darrc -> RE: A humble request (6/5/2011 5:37:40 PM)

Best wishes to you and yours. So sorry to hear this.

I may be in the minority, but I tend to seek "alternative" or more natural cures instead of what most people do. I've seen what radiation and chemo can do to people. I don't think I could put myself through it if I ever got cancer, but that's just me. Everyone is different.

A guy I work with has a friend who developed cancer several years ago. He got a couple opinions in the states, but the general consensus was he had a few months to live. So he went to the Bahamas and sought a specialist who does some kind of natural treatment. I don't know exactly what it is, but he has lived with his cancer in remission for several years. And he works construction still, so his body is still strong. Every year, he takes a combined purpose trip to the Bahamas. To go through another round of treatment and to do light work for a client he has there.

Whatever you choose, you have my best wishes. Hope for a speedy recovery.

AneNoz -> RE: A humble request (6/27/2011 3:15:23 AM)

My beloved Miryam has undergone her surgery and is not yet awakened fully. The staff is greatly optimistic of her outlook. My Beloved Helena and I are beside her bed as I type, and she is resting quietly. She did waken enough to smile on us, which brought tears of joy to us both.

Again I thank all for your kindnesses to a stranger. You have given the lie to the thought that we are a selfish people in this modern age. This gives me great hope and peace.

Also my Beloved Helena wishes to thank you all for herself for your good wishes for her friend and sister in the soul.

Be at peace
Aneka

Thank you, Aneka, for posting more at a time like this.  Your Miryam has been in my prayers.

AneNoz -> RE: A humble request (6/29/2011 1:51:27 PM)

Again, my Beloveds and I thank you for your words of kindness and support. It pleases my Beloved Miryam to have me read your words to her. She feels not so far from home. My beloved is recovering very well and the surgical team has optimism that I will be able to bring her from the hospital to our suite with a caregiver nurse nearing the end of next week.
