Also from the aforementioned Q turns human episode:

q, 'What must I do to convince you I'm mortal?!'

Worf, 'Die.'

"Gagh is always best when served live."

Hi Banshee

That makes two of us. He reminds me of an edgy Puck from Shakespeare. I also enjoyed the ones with Jennifer Hetrick who played Picard's squeeze for a bit. Not serious- just fun. Recall Warf's line.."I protest. I am NOT a Merry Men." when they're playing Robin Hood? The dueling between Warf and Q was some of the most humorous in the series.

Ha ha ha. I loved that too from Mr. Woof.

I liked the Jennifer Hetrick character too. She was a good counterpoint for him.

And then when Deanna wanted to take command (the whole Vulcan episode) "I'll jettison you into space!" And her Engineering test. I saw it when I was still a naive little ray of sunshine, and it just caused great big clouds of confusion to confound me. :(

Now of course I deeply appreciate it!

best,
sunshine

I stand corrected. But hey, I was close!

You stand corrected twice.  The man's name is David Ogden Stiers.

I am going to have to turn in my Star Trek Fan Card and start watching re-runs so I can get it right! Not like me to slip up this bad!

Shame on you Treasure!

Well, I hung onto my officially rejected by Paramount script for a long time.  But in the end, things are just things... you can't take 'em with you.  Besides, I hate clutter.  [;)]

If you hate clutter, then I'd say that dress there is clutting up the photo.... Must. Do. Away. With. It.

(y'all are glad I said it, I know you are!)

Now Treasure, I have to agree with Sunshinemiss on this one. That dress is really cluttering up the photo! Can't you dematerialize it or something?

Treasure, darling, you know... resistance is futile! *smooches

Banshee - loved it! Thank you!

Why I hate Star Trek:

Leonard Nimoy Stuns Trekkies | Star Trek - Sci Fi Blog

Star Trek the real World Premiere took place in Austin, Texas at the Alamo Draft House theater three hours ahead of Austraila's Trek Premiere!

On Monday 6th April 2009 Leonard Nimoy beamed in out of the cosmos and received a rapturous explosion of cheering from surprised Trekkies who were delighted to see him.

I was gobsmacked to see "MR SPOCK" materializing before my eyes on....ahem youtube. The Trekkie flames of passion engulfed me and a huge smile lit up my face. I was totally amped.

I don't know how but the curvature of the space time continuum was being altered to allow star trek fans in texas (and I wished I could have just been there), the movie writers and Leonard Nimoy to make contact without causing a rupture in space time! It was happening before my eyes on youtube. Trekkies were energized with excitement, and were busy high fiving, while others cryed and laughed for joy. I have no doubt they will treasure this moment forever.

You ever have that nauseous feeling when you want to throw up but just can't?

I felt like a bit of a perv after watching the latest film that I actually got the hots for Spok. Well Zachary Quinto is rather delicious.

Although I wouldn't mind a few orders from Captain Picard. [:)]

0ldhen -> RE: Why We Love Star Trek (5/17/2011 5:04:35 AM)

My favorite Star Trek quotes;

"Would it really have hurt us to gather a few laurel leaves"

Captain Kirk speaking of the last Greek god, Apollo.

And;

"Sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the fw or the one"

Followed by;

"Sometimes the needs of the few or the one outweigh the needs of the many"

As well as the very best"

'IDIC- Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations"
