Frosted flake watches from the big tree outside the window while Lovethyself hides the win... Waits his chance to sneak in and grab it while she is out buying beer. Then waits for Lovethyself to get back with the beer.

The WIN jumps from the hiding place and into Lance's arms. Lance dashes to his office and sets the WIN in a familiar place, hoping people will let him have it through the night as he works on a project due yesterday. ::: sigh ::: The WIN has helped before. Now, y'all just "lend" it to me, 'K?

I'll just take the WIN off your hands misty. Thanks for holding onto it for me. We will have a nice calm afternoon of meditation and writing. Maybe it can help me actually stay focused and finish what I'm supposed to be working on before I have to leave for work this evening.

Not really cool from a construction sense, but we do have a fairly well known band coming in for one of our shows this week. They are performing live, and it's a bigger set up than we've had to do in the past in this location. It's been quite the hunt for power, making sure it's the right amount, etc. We're actually using my suggestion, which is somewhat validating, since I'm 10 to 20 years younger than those involved in the discussion.

From the creative side, I've stumbled onto the DIY group in FetLife, and I've been playing around with some of the suggestions I've found in there. Currently working on a flogger with thin strands of rubber (from the inside of a bungee cord). I haven't worked out exactly how I want to do the handle yet, though I know I want to wrap it in thread or string of some kind (sort of like a wrapped sword handle). Still working out details.

I also just finished my Dom's birthday present. It's a marquetry design (looks like wood inlay done with veneers) with a butterfly in the centre. Our first weekend together, He took me to a butterfly conservatory. The butterfly is based on a pic I took on my phone from that day.

Are you working on anything right now? I seem to recall that you're a creative type person too.

Thanks.

Now I'll take the WIN with me to work. It didn't really help with my writing earlier, since something hiccuped and I lost the whole entry. Grrrrr..... I have to walk away from it for a bit and see if I can recapture what I was trying to write. Hopefully I'll be able to get it after work.
