It's here. I WIN!!

Well, I win the Christmas and lead up with no power WIN. My house got power back after I left for my parents, and they still don't have power. Luckily, Christmas dinner was at my cousins' house, and they have power, so I finally got a shower. Charging phones by car, invoicing clients by tethering phone data to laptops. Fun times here!

I can't wait to go home tomorrow after yet another dinner (this time at my brother's) where there is power. Ah civilization, we missed you.

When I can, I'll post some ice storm pics (I can't from the phone). It's magical in picture format. Cold when you're in it, but still magical.

And because I missed it (power, ice, etc) happy solstice. I raised a glass, and fittingly enough, that's the night the power died....

Sounds fun LTS i was gonna take the christmas win last night but got fustrated when compy messed up so i let you have it.

so ill take the win of not so much win. everyone here is fighting a form of cold or flu mess. im just stuffy nose. my chipmunk has the whole kit and caboodle she has the runny/stuffy nose, coughing, but worst of all she has a fever that im losing at battling.

good news is she has a dr appointment tomorrow at 3pm.

other than that im eating watergate salad and relaxing though i need to do some school work so ill be working on that here in a few.

wow that reminds me of winter 2008-2009 here plus earlier this month we had a ice storm and snow but no white chrismas.

i was only 6 then so i wouldnt remember much but i know i played in lots of snow and ice frequently while waiting on school bus lol

i finally got my water pipes fixed after they froze up and blew up after the last freezing rain and snow. So yeah, i'm doing okay without snow this week. Also, i have a really wet Win. [:)]
