OK. Born and raised on LI remember? Just stepping on the sand causes a unique chain reaction process, wherein, the sand starts immediately multiplying, the whole while moving from the soles of your footwear, over the top of them, and into said footwear. Then the real migration can happen (because sand can multiply much better in the dark with no one watching), where the sand all of a sudden is in the nether regions of the unmentionables, right before it makes the push to your shirt. Once there it now reigns supreme, and ends up in your hair, which takes exactly 3.78 days to get it all out. Sheesh.

It's the beach sand... it invaded the aircraft and they need to clean it... and it is magical and stuff and things.
