The Person Beneath Me has NOT seen all the Godzilla films from the 1950's through to "Godzilla vs the Smog Monster".

The yank version cut ALL of that out. If you haven't seen the scene where a 20-something Mother is trying against all hope to console her child, when it's clear that the CHILD tragically knows they both will die, and that somehow the people they trusted were/are resposinble, then you have not seen Gojira/Godzilla.)

While we were talking, her mom got a call from someone else the mom wanted to play with and off they went. That night, the young lass was in the company of the young buck who was also at the friend of the mom.

The Person Beneath Me remembers their first blush at seeing someone of the opposite sex for the first time seeing that person.
