I usually don't experience orgasms when I play. Even during sexual play, it's rare for me to orgasm. It took a long time for me to realize that it really isn't that important to me or to my partner whether I orgasm or not. As long as we're enjoying ourselves, that's really all that either of us need to be happy.
Like you said though, my partner does enjoy it when I orgasm, so sometimes he'll pay particular attention to my spots and force me into one of those screaming, crying "yup I definitely had one" type of things.
