Richard III. He wasn't as bad as all the history books make him out to be, and many of the acusation towards him have no basis in fact. Why the hell would he kill the young York princes while they were under his protection in the Tower? For that matter, if they were killed, why not produce the bodies? It would have quieted any rumoured rallying point for the opposition. Hell, Henry Tudor had to fight multiple fraudulent "Richards" because of the lack of evidence about the York princes. Sorry.... currently reading the White Princess (based in that time period). Would you rather read an actual accounting of an historical event, or a fictional account that may embelish parts?
