Figured with all of the latex, rubber, patent leather and other fun materials being used by everyone here, someone should be able to help me. I found a spool of plastic "cord" called S'Getti. Similar to plastic craft lace, but this is a round, hollow cord that is a bit stretchy. Ironically, every place I've seen it online claims it's solid, but it is hollow. It's very inexpensive and just screams to be used as flogger material. So, out came the scissors, measuring tape, shrink tubing...... Crap. This stuff sticks together. Not like STUCK stuck, but it definitely doesn't fall smoothly like I wanted and ends up getting snarled in tangles. I rinsed it off in hot water, but as soon as it was dry, it started sticking again. About the only thing I've found that keeps it apart so far is WD-40, and I would really rather not use that. Talc doesn't seem viable, and it would be best if I could find something that wouldn't leave a residue. I cannot seem to find a site that lists what kind of plastic it is, but it is shiny and has the feel of some latex garments I've handled. Any ideas on how to keep it from sticking to itself would be greatly appreciated.
