OK I've seen this idea mentioned in jest a few times now, sometimes also not in jest. Latest in a current thread on these boards....

May I ask a favor then? because I think i've followed most rules...can someone look at my profile and tell me if i'm doing something wrong?

Heh, I was going to ask the same thing! I keep thinking that the only reaspon someone wouldn't respond to me would either be because my profile is boring or they don't like my picture. Maybe we need a "rate my profile" function.

So here we are. Rate the person above you's profile......
Maybe some will find it useful, whilst the rest can maybe have a chuckle or two!

Rave!

Well, I will give your's a 10 for straightforwardness and another 10 for realism. I am somewhat biased because I have read alot of your posts, and if anything negative was to be said, it is that you don't really show any of your sharp humor in your profile.

I like your profile, Ron. It's tone is very "you", and it gives a fair idea of what you are looking for. I give you an 8 for content. It could elaborate a bit, and show a bit more of the humour that we all (okay, most of us) love you for.

I have to give your photo a 6. It's clear and a face shot which earns you the 6 points but it lacks any character, such as showing you engaged in something, so your expression is a bit strained. Not a bad photo but maybe have some additional photos uploaded.

Great idea, Raven!!

Cin

Thanks Ron, well after 25 years I damn well should have a good idea of what I'm after Aimed at getting everything over clearly rather than humour, more my management side came out when putting the profile together.

Right Cin, let's have a look at this profile of yours should we.....

Photo, only 5 there sweetie, barely a glimpse of that pretty face of yours, mearly a hint of a lovely smile. You got it gal, so flaunt it. If there wasn't that damn pond in the way I'd wander over with my camera and shoot as many as it took to get you a great profile pic. Go seduce a photographer

Written profile 9. Grabs the attention, gives a good impression of what you are looking for and an even clearer idea of what you are not. The begining however does leave the impression of you fighting yourself "Am I slave or am I not?", "Best be careful what I wish for" which could colour someones view of the rest of the profile.

Have to chuckle a little at your hard limits though... as I am an ex-amature boxer who enjoys Horror movies

This must be a ploy to get more hits on your profile...posting twice.  Bad Dom.
I agree with everything Ron said.
Although, for someone who won't admit that she needs glasses, I find the red background distracting and hard to read.  I tend to prefer white backgrounds.  Just my personal preference.

This is really laying the cards on the table...
Writing a profile, reflecting on ones self mmmm difficult-
did I write too much? did I write too little? Is it too pedantic, too blah blah?
Dammit! in the end I just wrote what I felt at the time, edit when I feel like it
and left the interpretation to the reader.

Everything gives the impression of reality except one item - no way you've been around the sun 54 times! Your consistent smile in all the pictures is a dead give away that you like to have fun.

Curious, you don't want anyone to expect "stilettos, silk stockings" yet you have a picture of black shoes but they don't show the heals. Then yo have a pic of your painted toes/fingers; a deliberate tease for the foot subs? A game of guess the heel size? The other item in the picture is a little blurred.

Anyone who shows a pic with face painting is secure and confident in their Domination!

As a "Civil War fanatic" could you have led the South to a victory?

Would you consider Versace jeans?

Would love to know how many who have petitioned you adhered to you "12 steps to succeed" program.

Best dining experience in New Orleans? Have you been there since Katrina? (Sorry to interject a selfish question, but I want to support the economy of my favorite party city and take beth there soon!)

I love to see profiles like yours where expectations are spelled out so clearly.

You guys are too funny:

Ok here goes:

I am indeed 54, 55 this December! and I owe it all to loving life and living life to the max.

I would have withdrawn from Gettysburg when the Yankees were entrenched in the high ground--and forced then to engage Me closer to Washington.

If the butt looks good, I'll consider Kmart jeans!

As a matter of fact those 12 steps have actually kept out more idiots than anything!

The best experience used to be My house, when I was there! I prefer a travelling dinner, drinks one place, appetizers in another, etc.

I have not been there since, it hit days after the death of My mom and we lost so many friends, including the suicide of My daughter's pediatrician---I stay in close touch with people there, it looks like a war zone--here are some frightening stats---hurricane season starts in JUne---Katrina was 9 months ago--90% of the damage has not been repaied--and they cannot today handle a category 2 if it hit--so pray for them.

And it seems I need to update My pics! and as always, thanks!

Honest, to the point and with a sexy as hell photo staring back.....the only suggestion I would make would be to have the whip conspicuously hanging in the back ground.......smiles Kevin

Your profile is precise, very detailed, and to the point.  It shows exactly what you've got and exactly what you're looking for.  I would give it a 9.8, but I really like Beth's lace top, so I'll give you a 10 if you tell me where you got it.

Edited to add: Damn!  I stalled to long reading your profile!  Now I have to critique fastlane's as well.

Fastlane, your profile of course rings of smart-assedness and complete honesty.  It made me laugh, so I'll give you a 9.  You need your pic back, though.

Michelle,
beth's top and leather skirt came from the "Pleasure Chest" an adult toy store in LA. That was our 2004 Folsom Street Fair outfit.

Seeing your profile generates envy in that you are so young and you and your husband have so much fun ahead of you! Switch, sub, or scary domme enjoy it all and never settle to serve someone else's idea of what you should be!

You look TOOOOOO cute in your wings, and oh so happy in the arms and kissing your man!

Excellent representation of a happy couple. We wish you all the best!

NOMC, your profile is straightforward and honest. You explain why you are here and what others should not contact you for. You paint a clear picture of who you are and that is tough to do in a short space. You get points off for the teal background on the words though, the red font and teal background clash. I hate backgrounds.  8.75 out of a possible 10

Your two pictures are wonderful. Oh, and your journal entries are interesting too.

LOLOLOL,

Ja, someone once told me it looks like a prison photo.  But I do look kinda like that, although my eyes are not always red, my teeth are not always green and I am alot more cracker than that photo, plus it makes me look like I got more hair than elvis (compared to reality).

Thanks Raven, I took the time to re-work it. It needed serious editing. It won't show for a while so I hope the next person to post will pass me by and crtique the one above me.

I struggle with the photo, I have a few that show my face, but I'm uncertian as to how public I want that to be. Perhaps something with a mask that shows more of the smile but still keeps some mystery? By the way, I tend to be my own pphotographer, but if there wasn't that pond, I'd take you up on your offer.

Thanks, for the indepth critique! I'll rejoin this thread when my new profile is up.

Back to your scheduled programming!

Cin

Yup... When I looked at it, I was thinking, kinda cute, in a mug shot sort of way.

I'd have to say that, while the profile is well written, I think it might be a little intimidating to some people.  The humor is great, but other parts might sound a little harsh to folks who don't "get it."  Overall, what's stated there sounds great, and could be exactly what many slaves are looking for, but there's a lack of "warmth" that might keep a lot of them from contacting you.

Gauge, I've always loved your profile. I love the face pic, so studious and thoughtful, and even somewhat philosophical in nature. I love the musician photo. You don't need to say you love music the photo tells us it's one of your passions.

You really put yourself on the line, and made it clear where you're coming from. No one could fail to get a sense of who you are, although they need to read your posts on here to get your wicked humour.

I'll give you 9.5...only missing the .5 because it leaves out the humorous, playful side of you that we enjoy so much.

I apologize! I forgot I'd edited it after Raven's comments. Hopefully someone with a profile not pending can step in and get this back on track. Or just pick someone above to rate. Who says we can only be rated by one person? Second opinions are good!
