I love waltzes, particularly unexpected ones.

Would you mind posting some that you enjoy? The more non-traditional the better, although I do love traditional waltzes as well.

Here's a beautiful one. I posted it recently in some other thread, but it's worth a repost. I like to imagine perfectly coiffed Viennese ladies in long ballgowns and Italian masks and men in tuxedos dancing in a marble ballroom to this one, circa 1889:

annihilation

I love waking up in the burgeoning spring pre-dawn. Listening to the birds waking up and waking us up. People noises are few and far between. Smelling grass and being grateful I can hear. It's near perfection.

I fell in love with this one from Dancing with the Stars, both the music, which I think is Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter...? And I thought the dance itself was just magical :)

Which reminds me, I need to go watch the results.......

Oh I love that one, and I hadn't recognized the waltz in it, even though I heard it with every Harry Potter movie. Thanks very much. :)

Well, I am rather glad you did. :) I love doing that and I haven't done it in far too long. I am going to do so, soon: sit on my patio with a cup of coffee, and just listen and smell that fresh smell.

The other day I was exercising before dawn and I heard a very, very odd bird, almost screaming. It was intriguing, but I was inside and naked and couldn't go investigate. I hope I hear it again.

I'll add another non-trad. waltz:

Nothing Else Matters
