Two kids sue the government for not adequately protecting the environment.  http://www.dailycamera.com/ci_18028355?source=most_viewed

Normally, I'm all for the young having political drive, but this....

Well, at least some are enviromentaly aware, and they are the future, so why not seek to better your future and force those who could even be dead by the time the children grow up, to do something now, not later whenever later might be, probably never or when it's too late as usual.

Back when I was a kid, they used to teach us things like how to write letters to congressmen. Nowadays, it's lawsuits.

Haven't there already been lawsuits like this in the past?

Back when I was a kid it was sex, drugs, and rock & roll.

I don't understand how the youth of today have gone so wrong.

Just another case of a young person being taken advantage of by adults that think this will get them attention...and it did...I think it is abhorrent.

I am an environmentalist and not against the message…just the way it is being presented.

Well, there was that, too. I remember this song very well. Kind of sums up a whole generation, I guess.

I don't think kids of today are really that much different. I tend to be sympathetic to some degree. The next generation will be inheriting some huge problems to deal with, not just environmental issues.
