ORIGINAL: Termyn8or That is an issue that gets down home real fast. My kids should be educated in the way I say, I made them and they are mine, not so much like property but in a way. I want them to hold my values, to envision similar dreams as I did, and grow to become something I can respect. T^T Sure, if you can afford to look after them for the rest of their natural lives, make sure they aren't going to be a burden on the system because you pay for them, make sure they don't turn out to be homocidical maniacs and all that, fine, then have them educated as you want them to be, just bear in mind that if you want that right for you, then all the other parents can claim the same right, you know the ones who sponge of the system and never did a day's work will demand the same right or scream discrimination, imagine all the people who go on Jerry Springer demanding the same? Oh wouldn't that be fun? As for you "making" the children, unless you're a biological wonder, you need a woman as well who possibly had the much harder part in the making (i.e. 9 months pregnancy) - so will she have more of a say than you? How about me? I don't have kids but my taxes are used for education, since it's my money, do I get a say too or is it just people with kids?
