This one really makes me want to move to Turkey, no questions asked...lol.

hi slave i am real and serious master.. i am from turkey,, my home will be your dungeon..you can come to turkey..you can stay at my home.. you will be my slave in my home...you will make holiday also.. you will be under my control always

My responce....

Well,
I hate to sound mean and all, but I'm not your slave. I'm here in search of the ONE. The Dom who is right for me. A little advice though, what you sent me is commonly refered to as a HNG form letter. You must first earn the respect and submission you desire. No submissive who has any common sense would submit to you after a first email like you just sent me. Good luck in your search. Just try to get to know who they are inside first next time. Earn your title. Anyone can claim to be a Master, but few actually are.

I've read a lot about how a submissive should approach a Master/Dom, but nothing yet about the other side of the coin. Thoughts and comments?

Myra,

There is a possibility that there is a language barrier and that he could make it sound a whole lot more romantic and appealing in Turkish.

Then again, he may be a lost soul.

Then again, he may one giant dick wad.

Regardless, I think you handled that with grace and class.

You had it right in your advice to him. People should not approach each other assuming a dynamic that has not been established yet. They should put their best foot forward and to the best of their abilities state their needs and what they can offer. I think that should be universal. We are, after all, trying to develop human relationships.

That is a nice polite response; I think far more polite than he deserves. If I were in your shoes (or skirts) and got something like that, if I replied at all it would be something like:

"Do you mean you are FROM Turkey, or that you ARE a turkey?"

or

"Are you always such a complete idiot, or are you making a special effort just for me?"

Anyway, there was another thread somewhere about form letters sent out by trolls, and your response looks like a great form letter to send back.

I have seen this email in a couple of journals. Seems he has sent this email to more than a few.

By responding you are feeding the troll, I would ignore him personally.

Gloria,
No he didn't. He read it, and that was it. I really didn't expect a responce.

LadyAngelika,
You maybe right. I did feel a little bad, thinking he may be having a language barrier. Either way, maybe now he'll realize that's not exactly how you get to a lady.

Mod 3,
Thanks, that's what I intend on doing. I just have to respond once to these messages. Maybe, I'm too outspoken...lol. I do try to keep it nice, unless it's impossible.

Well it just seems to me that just because you have a dominant personality doesn't mean you have to be an ass too, but if it is a language barrier who knows?....................

You really handled that classically. It is true that some people don't really understand that this is not a MACHISMO venture but more of a lifestyle of communication.

I realize people have various ways of doing things but please stop the madness when it comes to the power trip. You can't Dominate someone who will not allow you to.

I just delete them, I don't bother to respond. I've had offers similar to that from Egypt lately, too. The ones that really make me shake my head in wonder are the ones that only say "hello". There's not a lot for me to respond to, with that. After checking out their profiles, I can see that they probably haven't read mine at all .

i just received this today... hope no one minds my posting this here, it seems to fit this thread.

Any messages i receive which obviously center around less than noble intent (my profile clearly states that i am owned/collared and not looking, content with the One known to me as Master, INSIDEYOURMIND ... etc.) are forwarded so that He may deal with them as He chooses to. Some of the messages received are so pathetic that they are as equally humorous. Of course INSIDEYOURMIND could have dealt with this message, and W/we both agreed i could have a little fun with this one while at the same time getting the point across (IE: poor wording, sentence structure, & grammar, maybe less than honorable intentions, & laziness in not reading profiles.

i find that to be quite interesting in itself. i've never known nor heard of anyone to hold a facination with an isolated charactor of the alphabet. Does this facination ever cross over with interest to other various charactors? i'd bet that, if you ventured to, that this interest could perhaps evolve into your being interested in v or perhaps m or for added kink maybe w? Good luck.

cynnacent1

P.S. Perhaps the best advice i can offer is that you actually read a person's profile before contacting them.

... darn typos.
