You notice that the conservatives on the court voted for this?

Of course I did sweetie, it's always the conservatives fault. Now go take a nap and try not to think about those nasty folk. I am sure the democrats will take care of all your problems.

jlf1961 -> RE: The 4th Amendment losing its power (5/17/2011 4:59:24 PM)

Boi, considering that the conservatives are screaming about individual rights, this seems a bit on the "fuck rights" side of the argument.

One of these days you will just admit you were wrong, but I won't hold my breath.

They have devices that see through walls and devices that can hear your breathing

In the scenario you are describing what is to stop them from saying that they suspected that you were in a drug induced blackout and in jeopardy of dying or something

They have their ways, and they can be wily fuckers

The lesson here, is if you have a knock at the door, sit very very quietly. Even if you have to pee your pants, just don't move. For heaven's sake, don't flush your own toilet!

I wonder, how long can the cops stand outside your door waiting for you to answer it? Are they subject having the police called on them for trespassing, if they do not have a search warrant, they should not be able to stand around all night waiting for someone to flush a toilet! And since when are we compelled to answer our door to the police if they do not possess a search warrant? This is just utter bullshit.

This ruling is just ill conceived

And when he said that he was talking to countries which harbored terrorists, like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq

But dont worry about the nagging little details now, might get in the way of your perfectly good rant

Awesome Walter Brennan imitation Dubya did that day.

Here's what I wanna know How did they come up with a document 342 pages, not including about twice that many in amendments to other, already laws, in less than two weeks (1st draft) and it took YEARS to produce the health care reform. My guess is it already existed.

MrRodgers -> RE: The 4th Amendment losing its power (5/18/2011 6:34:22 AM)

The courts are the first refuse of the new tyranny...and have been all throughout history.

Remember, everything Hitler did...was legal.

It is the court the legitimizes power to 'rename' in order to recast the social regime created by a compact between the people and govt. as delineated in the bill of rights.

So the court is deliberately redefining just what our bill of rights legally means to allow what comes next...private police force of contract fascists. Universal govt. intrusion into your life and privacy and surveillance of anybody and everybody they choose.

If govt. has any problem with you and without any real probable cause, they can take your computer, take other personal effects, gather all information, watch you, attach a locator on your car while on your property and of course all without your knowledge or a warrant.

Well it's all because that today's obviously hypocritical conservatives want to protect their rights...not yours and they and their court will decide for you.

For example, the right has now engineered a regime holding that a corporation has greater free speech rights than you do. The corporation has greater property and privacy rights than you do. The corporation can now purchase speech, purchase govt....while you cannot.

Kinkroids this was put in place by the right and Obama is slave to the mess that was left to him. Not taking advantage of getting OBL and dismantling this new fascist regime will all but sign the death warrant of the bill of rights.

My department is training drug sniffing dogs as we speak, and are planning on going door to door thanks to this ruling[8|]

Termyn8or -> RE: The 4th Amendment losing its power (5/19/2011 1:07:30 AM)

Ever read the Turner Diaries ? They busted so many people the jails couldn't even think of holding them. And in the end the corruption of the government was it's demise. Maybe it's a shitty book, but that's what it said, and you know what ? It makes sense. The corruption will be the downfall. You have been able to buy justice for a long time and it is only getting worse. I know because I've done it. When the government thinks they can trust their own, but they can't, what do you think is going to happen ?

If I go down I am taking as many of them as I can with me. It would be better to just leave me to live my life. I won't hurt anyone. If I do, fuck with me for that. If I don't, what I do is not your problem. Deal ?

FR So the police will now kick in doors if someone moves in the house or if grandma takes a shit. To flush or .not to flush? Instead of warrants now are they going to just listen outside of doors and wait? Is it time for steel and iron doors again?

Termyn8or -> RE: The 4th Amendment losing its power (5/19/2011 6:16:10 AM)

Wake up and smell the roses, it's all a conspiracy, we are all being herded into a situation where we just accept, it is happening worldwide, and fear, is one of the motivators, create fear and people suddenlybecome very malleable.

But as another said to me recently on here, the constitution is not cast in stone, but open to ammendment by the Law profession and that dependant on the prevailing conditions of life as it affects..... erm, whoever ?

Always question authority, as to accept without question will be our undoing.

Questioning authority is one thing, assuming it is a conspiracy is another.
