Not quite, but I will say that feminism, over the past 50 years, has created the socially prevailing 'excitement' that you both display on the topic, the very kind of excitement I do not display, and that I am criticized for not displaying. I'm not a believer in 'the movement' and therefore, my alarm bells do not sound over movement-hyped issues.

You constantly demand an explanation over what? Not being a joiner in your 'excitement' driven by a movement that I don't subscribe to?

Sweetie, you started the thread, therefore, you started the "excitement." I merely failed to back down from your bull crappy.

Frankly, I could care less about people's affairs. I care far more about alleged rape victims being compared to someone who has been fondled. I care far more about alleged rape victims being compared to someone who had a consensual affair. If you wish to (somehow) imply that it's only rape because the feminists say it is, so be it.

Now you've just implied only non-feminists know a good fuck from rape. Is this *really* your point?

BTW: Instead of explaining your words, you have once again sidestepped away from the core issue I am attempting to address with you: "how you view rape, alleged or not."

Your reply that you have no views on rape is more obfuscation, especially as you began a thread that is tangential to an alleged rape.

Excitement, that is how you wish to label disgust over the rape of a woman? You dont have to be a member of a 'movement' to have some empathy with some one who was assulted... you only have to be a human. I am not a fan of the modern feminest movement for several reasons.. but that does not keep me from knowing the differce that rape is wrong. As CP said to compare the affair with Arnold with the rape of the other woman is disturbing. That and your comments on this thread show a sure lack of reason or lack of humanity.. one is scary the the other option is just sad.

The thread I started was about Arnold.  Not the difference between rape and affair.  All the fems and pussy-whipped men took it in that direction, pulling various assumptions directly out of their ass.

Yesterday, the IMF guy was vilified in the media over an alleged event with a maid in a hotel.  Today, Arnold is in the media over diddling the household help. What do you think 'war stories' implies?

Your 'excitement' is duly noted.

I think one is a former actor and skum back for having an trist without his wife knowing.. I think the other may very well be a rapest. Rape and an affair have nothing in common. As of now I also think you are getting pissy and name calling. Not that it matters to me if you think I'm pussy whipped. In fact I may enjoy being lumped into that if it means that if I'm not I dont get to believe that there is no diffence in rape and sex.

Just saying

Ah finally, a glimmer of light in the darkness. I could easily infer "war stories" means the difficulty powerful men have finding a female to have sex with who won't blab about it (or blackmail them) later. Not to mention have the poor sense to become impregnated a/o claim rape.

Your use of the phrase "Hannity tactic" in your initial reply certainly leads one to believe you meant to provoke a response, then denigrate it b/c the response was angry.

You provoked replies you can't or didn't adequately respond to. As early as post 4 you could have explained what you meant by war stories, you did not. Instead you poured gasoline on the flames and accused others of inciting a bonfire.

You said: The thread I started was about Arnold. No it wasn't, it was about what Arnold and Strauss-Kahn have in common. They both had sex with a female and are being roasted in the media for it. That you didn't immediately rush to explain when your poorly worded OP was misconstrued speaks for itself, IMO.

How you managed to bring feminism into this thread, I have no idea, other than to toss out a whole other set of provocative implications with little substance and no merit.
