I think the show in the future will be improved. The more truth we get the better. This reminds me of the Frank Sinatra song, “I did it my way. ”

I have missed KO, and I am actually one of those FOK people....lol

KO reminds me of Sinergy, his mannerisms, the way he carries himself, his sense of humor, and his ability to have wonderful articulate rants... but Sinergy didn't like him so much (maybe it was one of those things... if someone is too much like you, it irritates?)

He did not want any corporate interference of the shows content. He did not want any interference from higher ups as to what he could say or do with his show. For example, I believe General Electric sold military equipment to some countries wish caused Olbermann to modify some episodes concerning those countries. At the time GE owned MSNBC and NBC.

That's the first time I've seen Letterman in years, still the same, laughs at his own bad jokes. (I thought the writer's strike was over?)
He's become the "Mike Douglas" of late night, boring.
No wonder everyone watches Jay Leno.

Whats even worse is Nightline usually beats them both.

I think it’s time to take away from Fox news the right to call itself news and call it entertainment.
It looks like Mr. Murdoch is very afraid of Keith Olbermann.

When I was a senior, I lived @ the infamous 405 Marlboro St (which was famous for free-range laughing gas parties, phish throwing up and then thrown out, sodium crystal bombing of Conscious Cookery, and my stereo system, from which you could hear the dead clear to kenmore square ) in Boston. He lived off campus somewhere in my neighborhood for a while during his freshman (I think) year, and used to frequent father's five (THE ULTIMATE COLLEGE DIVE FRANCHISE ... between their 8 locations in the boston cambridge area they could probably take credit for virtually all of the non-vehicular alcohol related deaths in boston between 1974 and 1984 ... with specials like 'all-night screwdrivers for .25 cents' how could they miss). Anyway, he was well known at the time, but I doubt by name for walking into the five and doing this projectile vomiting gag after like 3 drinks. It was a riot, and he'd have to wait till they did one of their monthly mass-firings to keep the cops happy, to come back and ply his trade again. I don't think anybody ever really knew if it was staged or real.... but it was truly an awful, yet hilarious spectacle. I never knew it was Conan till a friend was over for the holidays a few years ago and we were watching and he said 'ya know that guy is "the shooter" right?' And after thinking back, I am about 90 percent certain he was the guy.

I don't think that's the point that's most critical, in the past three decades Murdock has taken control to the point where he can dictate to the priministers of europe and most other commerce centers in the world. And he's got a leg-up on doing here.

It takes a half hour just to filter out all the shit foxnews injects into the discussion, before a real debate can begin.

It is hilarious tho when cons regurgitate bratbarts poo and then look really foolish, on a regular basis. So, there is an up-side I guess.

Ohhhh the outrage of it all. But visit the thread on FNC in Canada and the celebration over that. And, par for the course on the board, neither thread was accurate.

Current TV is NOT off the air in Italy, the issue is over 1 satellite provider. And FNC IS available in Canada, on cable and satellite.

Personally I hope KO does well. A youth oriented channel needs a good dose of lying, venemous hypocrisy to keep it lively.

And KO even lies about his own situation. When he announced Countdown was off MSNBC he said "I was TOLD this would be my last week". Now all of a sudden it was his idea. Just like leaving ESPN was his idea.

"Howard Katz
Executive vice president
Keith is as talented as anybody I’ve ever worked with. But he was a terribly unhappy person while he was up in Bristol. First of all, he was single. He didn’t drive. What kind of social life can you possibly have? He was not a happy camper up there, and it showed. People just didn’t want to work with him anymore; he was tearing the newsroom apart. Keith had to fight management on every single point. So [in 1997] I finally came to the conclusion that despite his brilliance and talent, we would be better off without Keith. I didn’t fire Keith; I just chose not to renew his contract. Keith did not respond well—although I’m sure it didn’t come as a surprise."

The desperation of Current TV hiring him is an indication it is will go the route of ErrAmerica.

Lol, Julia, he may be "extremely popular" with some far lefties but Fox News had what, 40, 50 "times" the audience of MSNBC?
I think their daily numbers were "65,000" back a few months ago.
If everything he says is "leftist" what "news" are you going to get out of him? He appeals to a very small "dedicated" audience.
What kind of ad revenue is any network who hires him going to get? Not much.
Like it or not Bill O'Reilly would *bury* him everytime.
