Then be creative. And plan well ahead. Here's an example..... When my Ex and I first started dating, it was in the fall. I told her very early on that I didn't do Valentine's Day, that as far as I was concerned it was a bogus holiday invented to sell greeting cards. She was a bit disappointed but accepted it. On Valentine's Day, I got up and said nothing special, went downstairs to get breakfast. As soon as she got up and went into the shower, I rushed back upstairs and spread the 2 dozen long stemmed roses I'd hidden in the basement over the bed and a box of chocolates on it as well. When she came back to get dressed....well lets just say she didn't actually get dressed till quite late in the day... This little surprise was about 4 or 5 months in the planning, when I started the scheme rolling I didn't even know if we would make it to Valentine's Day. And it floored her completely...mouth open, speechless, tears in the eyes, simply overwhelmed sort of reaction...very satisfying . If your Mistress likes surprises, then use your head...you know her and the sorts of things that she likes the best, use that information to think of things that will do it for her, and don't be afraid of the ideas that will require some setting up... they are often the best.
