For me, 24/7 is nothing like a training weekend.

24/7 to me is getting take out Friday night so we don't have to do dishes or cook, maybe go out to a movie, come back, do some play.  Wake up late Saturday, go do errands like get some groceries, put in a load of laundry, check out a new restaurant for lunch.  Then either go to a party that night or hang out at home and chilld.  Sunday, wake up late again, go hang out with the family for a little bit, watch TV, get ready for Monday morning and then hit the bed.

24/7 life is pretty boring, with obviously lots of fun and kink inside.  But very different from a living together 24/7 weekend for me.  But then I do the cleaning chores and stuff mostly during the week.

But it sounds great for a focused service/usage training weekend.

I'm thinking of throwing a Sunday Brunch and Pedicure Party for a few of my friends... he can cook and serve breakfast, then give everyone foot massages and pedicures.  I'll have to find some kind of stool or something for him to sit on but still be rather low to the floor, since he can't kneel.  I've got some other ideas, and am going to start making a list and begin working out a rough outline for the weekend.

I'm trying to strike a balance between activities that he will enjoy (in a painful or humiliating way), and non-fun things, not necessarily work, but sometimes just waiting... and waiting... as well as just regular vanilla activities with a D/s flavor.  Enough so that he can really experience that it is not 24/7 fun and games but that this is Real Life.  All that, in 4 days.  Yikes! 

Oh... AND I've never done this before <grin>  In fact, that's why I agreed to let him come.  It's going to be a learning experience for us both!

Why???  BDSM fantasy weekends are much much much more fun than 24/7 (a.k.a.: real life).  With a BDSM fantasy weekend, you both tend to have the energy and stamina and excitement to really let loose. 

I think of training weekends like vacations.  I have so much more energy on vacation, and even the mundane things (like going to the grocery store) are more interesting.

There is plenty of time to get back to real life...enjoy those special weekends and don't try to make them like 24/7 (a.k.a.: everyday).
