Hi CM,

I've lurked around on these message boards for a little while, and found lots of valuable and interesting information, but I am ridiculously shy and so have put off introducing myself until now!

I'm very new to this lifestyle, although I have felt the longing and desire to submit for a long time.  I've just recently embarked on a relationship with my first ever Dom, and am feeling the same feelings of excitement, yet fear, that I expect many do.

i have tried to edit my first post but i can't seem to - just wanted to apologise if my use of capatilisation has offended anyone, i am definitely a sub but keep forgetting i need to use lowercase - sorry!

And don't worry about the capitals; there are a few people here who use them but it's down to personal choice. Anyone offended by someone else's use of punctuation would be laughed out of town [8D][8D][8D]

As for the capitalisation thing - forget it! If and when your Dom(me) asks you to use lower caps, then go for it. Until then, it's normal grammar all the way! [:D]

i do agree that it seems a little bizarre, but i've seen a Dom in another thread who was angry at a sub for not "capitalising correctly" so clearly it's quite an important topic to S/some [8|]

Edit: I've just read the rest of your posts, so as you suggest I'm not going to bother as it's a pain to try and remember lol!!

Welcome to CM and the boards.  Wishing you all the best with your new Dom.  As  for the caps and slashy speak, we're not real big on that around here.  I had a Master who demanded it, but then I found out he wasn't as experienced as he claimed to be and was making it up as he went along.  Sometimes reading books isn't a good thing.   [;)]  Hang around the boards, meet some great people and make some friends along the way.

If it's his sub, then he has every right to demand that of her.  If it isn't, he's an idiot.
